Who Are Mike Scarpa & Jae Morales?
Mike Scarpa and Jae Morales are 28-year-old real estate investors, entrepreneurs, and coaches leading the charge toward financial freedom. Originally from Bayonne, NJ, and Puerto Rico respectively, Mike and Jae left high-level careers in finance and law to pursue full-time real estate entrepreneurship in 2022.
Since then, they’ve completed over 100 real estate transactions—90% through Creative Financing strategies—and built a portfolio valued at over $3 million. They also purchased their primary residence, a lakefront home in Pennsylvania, with no money down and a 2.9% rate using creative financing!
What Do Mike & Jae Do?
Mike and Jae are the powerhouse team behind Roman for Homes, a virtual real estate business specializing in wholesaling creative finance and cash deals, including novations.
Their team includes:

With expertise spanning over 15 states, they’ve closed deals through social media marketing, joint ventures, and referrals. While their primary markets are Pennsylvania and New Jersey, their reach is nationwide.
In addition to running Roman for Homes, Mike and Jae founded Roman’s Creative Academy, a coaching platform designed to empower others to build acquisition companies and achieve financial freedom. Their signature "Business in a Box" coaching methods have helped many investors achieve remarkable success.

Wholesaling Leader Stephen Chatto
Stephen is an accomplished real estate professional with over two decades of experience. His journey began in 2000 purchasing his first 3 family rental properties. A few more rentals and all was well, but he still needed to work. In 2012 he saw the possibilities available to him through wholesaling real estate. He decided to fully commit to real estate full time wholesaling to sustainably meet financial obligations and obtain more properties.
Over time, Stephen’s expertise in the real estate market evolved from wholesaling to purchasing multiple rental portfolios using the BRRR strategy, and most recently pursuits in private lending for truly passive income. Wholesaling has made him his own boss and he wants others to experience the same freedom. He has run SJREIA’s Wholesaling Subgroup since 2016.
Co-leader Roland Jefferson
Roland is a real estate wholesaler and a man of faith with a beautiful wife and 3 fantastic grown children. After much prayer for alternative ways to increase his income during his 17 years in corporate American, where he maxed his income as a performance engineering IT computer consultant, Roland discovered real estate wholesaling. He dove into the information age of free podcasts and YouTube University to gain an understanding of this new opportunity during his long work commutes to New York City. Eventually, Roland began working part-time in wholesaling real estate and as his education grew, he invested in advanced training and coaching to accelerate his knowledge and develop more consistent deal flow.
Roland has been blessed with the ability to replace and exceed his corporate income enabling him to be a full-time real estate wholesaler for the past 2 years. In addition to his love of winning in the wholesale arena, Roland also has a passion for teaching new wholesalers and helping them to achieve their own success. Roland believes in being a blessing to motivated sellers, serious cash buyers and anyone willing to learn and work as a real estate wholesaler in order to be a positive impact in the lives of others.
